Michelle McCue, Account Strategist

Michelle McCue is a strategic communications professional who believes that “success” begins with first understanding the goal. Drawing on her background in food and travel journalism, media relations, event management, and digital marketing, Michelle helps clients develop and execute strategic programs that achieve measurable results.

Her expertise in the wine, hospitality, and tourism industries stems from a personal passion for the Three P’s – People, Places and Palate. She brings this passion to bear on behalf of her clients, and believes industry knowledge and genuine enthusiasm are essential to successfully representing a client to the media, trade or public. Her experience includes work with clients such as Tourism Fiji, Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association, LearnAboutWine, LAWineFest, Eve’s Apples, Centers of Laguna Niguel, and the Orange County Coastal Tourism Bureau.

Michelle McCue is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), in which she is active in the Travel & Tourism section; she is also active in the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI). She serves on the Advisory Board for UCLA Extension’s school of Public Relations, and is also a member of the Marketing Board for the Boys & Girls Club of the West San Fernando Valley.

Michelle holds an M.A. in Mass Communications from California State University, Fullerton, where her research focused on strategic public relations and social media. She also holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from University of California, Riverside, where she served as an editor for the Highlander newspaper.
