Sienna Spencer
A native of Southern California, Sienna comes to McCue Communications with a background in food journalism, technical writing, and professional cooking. Prior to transitioning to public relations, she worked as a segment producer for Los Angeles’ top-rated food radio show, KCRW’s “Good Food.” She began her career in food writing as a contributor to the Culinary Historians of Southern California’s monthly newsletter, edited by Amelia Saltzman and LA Times Food Writer Charles Perry. In 2008, she became one of the first regular columnists for Edible Los Angeles Magazine, a national magazine highlighting the sustainable food movement and the hottest trends in the LA restaurant scene.
Complimenting her background in journalism and writing, Sienna also has experience in event production, ranging from private events to consumer marketing events to a stint with the 2nd Annual Santa Monica Farmer’s Market Gala. A natural teacher and communicator, she has taught classes in cooking to adults and children.
Sienna received her Bachelor of Arts in Critical Studies and Writing from California State University, Los Angeles. Her passion for food, wine, travel and media is evident in her personal life as well as her professional work. She lives in Century City with her husband, Greg, a musician.
